We adhere to the HPCSA’s Code of Conduct for all health professionals in general, especially psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors. In accordance with the ethical code, basic human rights are upheld as well as the integrity of each individual client, regardless of the concerns of others, including the therapist. A strict level of confidentiality is required by the code. There are only three exemptions:

Therapy clients are responsible for not misrepresenting their therapy or acting violently. As part of the therapist-client agreement, clients are also obliged to pay their accounts as agreed.
