About Juanitte

Juanitte Pieterse is a qualified Psycho-Legal Consultant with experience working with individuals, couples, families, children and groups from diverse demographic and socio-economic backgrounds. As a Psycho-Legal Consultant, she provides a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their perceptions, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and behaviours as they relate to inter-personal dynamics and contextually interconnected life challenges.

Additionally she provides professional psycho-legal advice to Law Firms, Attorneys, and private individuals facing complex divorce cases with examples of Narcissists and Psychopaths.

Juanitte specializes in Clinical Psychology, Family Law Mediation, Complex Divorce and Psychopathology Diagnosis and Intervention, and Personality Disorders and their related Abuse including Cluster A Personality Disorders – (Odd/eccentric behavior (paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal); Cluster B Personality Disorders – (Dramatic/emotional/erratic behavior (antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic); and Cluster C Personality Disorders – Anxious/fearful behavior (avoidant, dependent, obsessive-compulsive), as well as, Dual Diagnosis (Disorders that coexist) and their related treatment, including, Abuse, Grief, Loss, Major Depressive Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Schizophrenia, Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar I & II, Addiction, Substance Abuse Disorders (SUD), Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Complex-PTSD, ADHD and Neuropsychology (Brain Health).

Furthermore, as a Psycho-Legal Consultant, she has held the position of head psychotherapist at the Phyllis Robertson Home for people with mild to severe intellectual, developmental and psychological disabilities.

When needed, she consults closely with colleagues, including physicians, medical and mental health care professionals, and legal experts. This is to ensure comprehensive psychological care and legal guidance for her clients.
