WHEN TO SEEK INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

We at Strong for Life Integrative Psychotherapy strongly recommend you seek psychological therapy whenever you experience distress or difficulty in your life. Especially if you are experiencing psychological difficulties to the extent that they interfere with your life, are overwhelmed by them, or are at risk of harming yourself or others as a result, particularly if:

  • you spend an hour or more each day contemplating or struggling to cope with an issue;
  • you feel embarrassed or avoid others because of the issue;
  • the issue negatively impacts your quality of life;
  • the problem adversely affects your performance at work, school, or in your personal life;
