today!

Many graduates with a psychology Bachelor’s degree or an honors degree as well as individuals passionate about Mental Health struggle to find a career path or employment that meets their needs. Additionally, master’s degrees are awarded based on the graduate’s working experience.
However, did you know psychology graduates and those with a desire for helping others can achieve their career goals by becoming coaches, counsellors, or MH therapists?
The truth is this:
After you complete our SFL-ITCP training, you can earn a living while gaining experience, and most importantly, increasing your chances of getting accepted into honors and master’s programs.
The majority of our former students have established their own practices, and most have been selected into honors and master’s programs.
A psychology degree usually doesn’t get you anywhere, as you’ll need a master’s degree to start your psychology career. However, this is where we come in.
By enrolling in our Strong for Life Integrative Therapy and Counseling Practicum Course (SFL-ITCP), you’ll take full advantage of your degree or relevant skills and gain valuable practical training.
This is your ticket to real-world experience while getting paid – an excellent way to boost your application to Masters programs or any other training course in mental health.
Although this course is Open (offered to the public), we assume students have some theoretical knowledge since we don’t teach much theory, we focus more on how to apply it. As such, it is primarily a practical course, with an emphasis on HOW.
Upon completion of our SFL-ITCP training program, you will be eligible to become a member of the SFL mental health care provider team for an annual membership fee of R2,800.
Our SFL-ITCP is an intensive, three-week course conducted online via Microsoft Teams on any device from any location, Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm, with a 45-minute break for lunch. Fridays and Saturdays are assigned to independent assignments and coursework.
Our SFL-ITCP online course consists of both theoretical and practical components and is divided into 19 modules, composed of practical work, assessment, supervision, and course materials.
Each day’s tutorial will be recorded and available upon request to students who are unable to attend the live session. Thus, they will have the opportunity to make up for lost time.
Upon successful completion of the SFL-ITCP-Online Course you will receive a Strong for Life Integrative Therapy & Counselling Practicum certificate validating your practical training. Additionally, there is an opportunity to become a member of the SFL mental health care provider team for a fee of R2,800 per year.
